I don’t know if every Windows 10 user out there has received this update, but when I checked my apps on the Windows Store, there were several notifications. And among them, I noticed two apps coming from Microsoft itself.
Photos and Phone Companion apps for Windows 10 updated
The apps in question are the Microsoft Photos and the Microsoft Phone Companion apps for Windows 10. The update for the Phone Companion app for Windows 10 comes in at a size of 7.5 megabytes while the Photos app has received a much bigger update, weighing in at 58.9 megabytes.
As you’d expect, there was no changelog provided for these specific updates, but judging by their sizes, the Photos app should be the one with more significant improvements.
While I wasn’t able to spot too many differences, images did seem to load just a tad faster, but that was probably caused by the fact that I’d recently cleaned up my Windows 10 laptop.
If you did manage to find some significant changes, go ahead and leave your comment below in the box.
