It seems like their efforts don’t stop here, as Linux could get a Microsoft Teams app in the future.

Microsoft Teams could land on Linux in the future

It’s not the first time when this is speculated, but now a Twitter user called unixterminal has shared an update to a Microsoft Teams UserVoice page:

A Linux apt repo has also been created, but for now it’s empty.

It looks like Microsoft is about to release @MicrosoftTeams for Linux. The UserVoice has been updated to “stay tuned” and a Linux apt repo has been created: https://t.co/byJ6y2vUXa #Linux cc @Daniel_Rubino @JoeRessington pic.twitter.com/7TSUbc56Ru

Microsoft Teams is now available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. The “Stay tuned for more information soon” message from a Microsoft Teams engineer suggest that we will see it in Linux, as well.

We’ll just have to wait and see if Microsoft is seriously considering a Teams app for Linux.

It’s worth mentioning that Slack, Team’s main competitor, already has a Linux app and this might be just enough to determine Microsoft to create its own app for Linux.

If the advices above haven’t solved your issue, your PC may experience deeper Windows problems. We recommend downloading this PC Repair tool (rated Great on TrustPilot.com) to easily address them. After installation, simply click the Start Scan button and then press on Repair All.
