File storage security will be tighter

One common feature about almost all KBs from this round of updates is the fact that they include updates to improve security when storing and managing files.

This allows users to move their data between storage options safer and faster. Additionally, file leaks are less probable due to mishaps during file management.

Windows 7 gets its last Patch Tuesday updates

However, this month’s true highlight is the fact that it is the last Patch Tuesday update that will also support Windows 7.

Starting today, the dated OS will no longer be supported. This means no more security updates, so Microsoft urges users to upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible.

You can download the latest patch by either using Windows 10 built-in Windows Update feature or by manually downloading the patches that you want from the Windows Update Catalog.
