In spring, the company brought up the big guns launching Azure Synapse Link, a new tool for big data analytics.

And not long ago, the Redmond giant has even made a company acquisition to improve Azure’s data model.

It’s no wonder why now, PepsiCo and Mastercard both announced partnerships with Microsoft to use Azure as their cloud platform.

PepsiCo and Microsoft Corp. announced a five-year partnership that sets Microsoft as a preferred cloud provider to accelerate PepsiCo’s infrastructure, ERP, and data consolidation and modernization.

And the deal includes PepsiCo starting to use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams for all of its 270,000 employees worldwide.

Mastercard and Microsoft shape the future of digital commerce
