Microsoft boasts the Anniversary Update is the best OS the company has ever developed, and hopes to convince as many users as possible to upgrade to Windows 10 although they now have to shell out $119 to get their hands on the OS. However, as good as the Anniversary Update version may be, there are still product compatibility issues that may make users regret they agreed to upgrade.

Dell has already published a list with all its Anniversary Update compatible computers, and security software company McAfee has now done the same for its products. McAfee had previously presented a list with its software products incompatible with Windows 10 version 1607, informing users that Microsoft is working on a fix for those compatibility issues.

McAfee products compatible with the Anniversary Update

  • RTW = Released To World
  • RTS = Released To Support

Check this list before purchasing a McAfee product you intend to install on a machine running the Anniversary Update.

Intel Security has worked closely with Microsoft to ensure that McAfee security software and hardware products are fully compatible with Windows 10 endpoints. The following table includes all product versions that are currently supported for use with business versions of Windows 10.
