The services offered by LastPass specialize in the password management domain, offering solutions for keeping your password in order across multiple devices. This might be the best thing created for those that have an affinity for losing or forgetting their password and therefore losing access to important websites or modules.
LastPass caters to multiple types of users, as they offer both a free version of their services, and a premium version, which comes with more permissions. One of the most important features that free accounts lack in comparison to the premium ones is the fact that they can only synchronize on one type of device, depending on what device they first started using LastPass. For example, a free user that started using the service on PC, could only sync their password on PC, and if they wanted the ability to sync their password on mobile devices as well, they would need a premium account. It is worth noting that free users could sync mobile password on PCs, but not the other way around.
The reverse situation applies, as users that started out on a mobile device would be cut off from being able to sync their password to PCs unless they would be willing to opt for a premium version of the LastPass services.
LastPass made an important announcement recently, stating that all users, including free users, would be able to sync all their information across all types of devices. This comes as great news for anyone who wanted this ability was unable to opt for a premium account.
