Update KB4284848 is now available for download, but many Windows 10 April Update can’t install it on their computers. The download process goes smoothly but the update won’t complete installing, as this user reports on Microsoft’s forum. Unfortunately, the OP doesn’t more details about the exact issues that’s affecting the update install process — it could be an error code, or the system may simply revert the changes.

On the other hand, the Windows 10 v1803 users who managed to successfully install the update encountered other types of bugs. For example, many complained about Internet connectivity issues and particularly Wi-Fi connection problems. Luckily, some users were able to quickly fix this issue by rebooting the network hardware.

The good news is that these are the only KB4284848 bugs reported by users. If you encountered other issues after installing it, do tell us more about your experience in the comments below. If you haven’t found a solution to fix your KB4284848 issues, maybe the best solution is to simply uninstall the update. Go to Windows Update > View Update History > and hit the Uninstall button.

Me too..after update, i could not connect to my WIFI. As if WIFI was not enabled. Found out that the wireless adapter driver was not even loaded. Rebooted several times and it came back. Am now back online.
