May Patch Tuesday brought a new patch for the Windows 10 version 1709. Update KB4103727 fixes a series of browser and display issues, but it also brings quite a few issues of its own. The latest user reports suggest that the patch makes USB devices, and particularly keyboards and mice, completely unusable on Dell computers powered by Intel processors.

As another user points out, this is not the first time that Patch Tuesday updates break USB ports. As a quick reminder, back in February, Microsoft officially acknowledged that KB4074588 may cause USB devices to stop working.
Security Update KB4103727 Causing USB Keyboards and Mice Not to Work on Intel Dells Running Windows 10[…] Just kind of curious if anyone else is seeing this. I’ve taken this KB out of approval for all of our client because a couple folks had it install automatically in the middle of the day at about 3:00pm and it killed their USB keyboards, mice, and other USB devices (desk fans and crap like that). No go after reboot. Uninstall and all is well.
Unfortunately, these USB issues are not alone. Many users also reported that KB4103727 also broke their network drivers, preventing them from connecting to the Internet.
