Join Me App Now Available On Store For Windows 10

Thanks to the Project Centennial, Microsoft is now allowing Windows developers to convert their desktop applications to Universal Windows Platform (UWP) applications. This means that their applications will get into the Windows Store, allowing regular users to install, uninstall and update them with ease.

We remind you that join.me was able to run only on x64 Windows 10 PCs, but it is now found on the Windows Store and it is available even for mobile devices, even if this is a desktop application. The developers are now able to enable features such as push notifications, Live Tile updates, in-app product offers for the application and more features are expected to be added in the near future.

Once you start a join.me meeting, you will have to tap on the “Broadcast” button and you will be ready to go. It is good to know that if you are join.me PRO user, you will be able to share a single window instead of your whole screen. Thanks to the annotation feature, your whole team will be able to highlight, mark and even use laser pointers to highlight information right in your meeting to make a difference, make progress or even make a point.

To install the join.me application on your Windows 10 Mobile device, just open the Windows Store, search for join.me and tap on the install button. More desktop applications are expected to be released for Windows 10 Mobile OS sometime in the near future.
